Its not the coverage, its the phone, the phone is well known for its problems with picking up signal, try updating the software on the phone this may help0

I have checked that every week for a year and if anything its got worse!
Have reported it to orange loads of times (not since last year as was sick of getting nowhere) and got nowhere they say they cant see a fault and I can honestly say its not right - I may be blonde but it is honestly not right
Last year when I was phoning orange up a lot I would phone when I had 3 bars not move and then i'd loose reception which was good as orange realised what problems i was having but it didn't help0 -
If your coverage problems started when you got the phone, then its the phone, not the coverage, you can test this by putting your sim into a different model of phone. If you've had at least 4 handsets as you say then you should ask for either a brand new replacement (which probably won't make much difference), or a different model0

Yeh I know but I got nowhere hense why I am leaving orange but thanks for your help
I am tempted to see if they'd give me a diff handset until my contract ends in dec but i doubt it0 -
Christina - is there any T-Mobile coverage where you are? It may be that you can force roam on to there, once the roaming gets up and running. It is due this summer.0

after many dramas with orange i decided i wanted to leave- at the end of may this year i was told it would cost £150 to buy out the rest of my contract which ends in november but then someone told me about the iphone 4 coming out so i decided to wait. A friend of a friend works at o2 and told me today they can get me an iphone as the stores only sell them to existing customers so i phoned orange to say i wanted to leave and they told me today that it would now cost £190! i questioned how it could go up to buy out the rest of the contract when its nearly 2 months since i phoned and the rude person i was speaking to couldnt give me any reason at all so looks like i am stuck with them till November now....on another note the white iphone will be out then!SLIMMING WORLD 13/5/2012- 6lb loss total weight loss 5 stone 8lb

I'm tempted to wait to see if the problems with the iphone sort themselves out. Orange has gone down in customer service levels the past 2 years, I nearly changed last year and I wish I had.
The cost goes down daily, try emailing executive.office@orange.co.uk
Let me know how you get on0 -

Can anyone help?
Brief problem is I want out of contract that is due to end in December.
I have been with Orange since 2002 contract and 2 years pay as you go before that. I have never had any problems with service/coverage etc until a year ago when I last upgraded to Sony W995 reported the faults continually until september until I gave up (had about 4 handsets in the first 2 months of contract)
Phoned up today to enquire about leaving early and its going to cost £85.20 I think this is appalling especially after the length I have been with Orange, I few years ago I didn't upgrade for 6 months which if it counted would make it square but I was advised today that it doesn't.
Is there anything that I can do? I have no faults with the customer service that orange provides (until today the guy was dull, unfriendly very unlike orange)
Have since found out that I can sell my phone to a mobile recycle place for £75 so that would help
I have had a similar problem with vodafone, and after getting nowhere with customer services, I emailed the CEO and his office phoned up immediately, and all credit to them they have let me cancel my contract which had 18 months to run for free... All I had to do was give back my iphone

This link gives the ceo emails for most companies, including orange.... Nothing to lose by trying0
