mobiles.co.uk Scum

Hi,

Can anyone help??

I took out a new contract and phone through mobiles.co.uk 18 month £35 with 9 months half price (vodafone). I took this out in November 2009. 6 months in i email them my bill to get my first 6 months half price cheque (£105). I get an email back saying they will responed in 7 days and guess nothing ( i have tried several times) i even managed to get the cashback escalations email address i emailed them 8 days ago saying i would get a response in 2 days.

Has anyone else had problems? and get anyone help me....

Bit strong calling them "scum" isn't it?

With any CPW issue I usually find an email to Charles Duntone does the trick. Not sure if this applies to the other companies.

Some might also see it as being mild.

Too many issues with emailing bills for me, post everytime - small price to pay for peace of mind.

Oh, prepare to meet a couple of new friends on here as well !! (They know who I mean !)

That can't possibly include myself.... Perhaps you meant their rep who always promised much and delivered little, among other things. Anyway - firstly I suspect the amount claimed is wrong. Cashback claims do not work in pro rata way implied. Secondly, do your research and follow the rules. IF they haven't paid within the timescale laid down by YOUR t&c send them a blunt demand (by email) then send a LBA (copy by email) and then sue. There is ample on this site to guide anyone through who is prepared to put a fraction of their time into it compared with the time invested by all those who have provided such help many times over on here.

As for the description of this dealer.... I couldn't possibly comment!
