I have just received an 18 month contract with half price line rental from the link on the orange network via cashback redemption. When I phoned orange to connect the phone they said that orange and 02 had bought them out. Now I am not sure whether to go ahead with the contract or if I can back out.
Thanks in advance for any info.0 -
The link high street stores have been bought by various others including o2 and orange.
As far as i'm aware though they are maintaining an online presence and will continue to sell mobiles and via cashback etc which they should still honour0 -

Dixons Stores Group (DSG) sold all their high street outlets recently - however the web presence lives on, as does DSG itself.
Your cashback deal will not be affected by this.

Thankyou for your speedy replies. I am concerned as my contract does not explicity make any reference to the cashback offer - it just mentions a product code, which I'm not sure can be linked back to this deal. Are they legally bound to honour the deal if I have no written evidence that I agreed to the contract under these conditions?0

If its a cashback offer - you should have a claim form with all your documents. if you haven't - just go back in the store and get one. you dont need to worry about the cashback as it is dsg who dish em out and run them.0
