Halifax Credit Card

Right, so this time they will send a letter with the CCA and ask you to sign and return within 90 days, when they wil do the final credit check which will be approved.
Its always a complicated mess with Halifax when it comes to openning accounts (non savings based) that aren't done in branch and their online banking service always will offer you things that you arent even elligable for - but you'll get there in the end!0 -
Just seen on creditexpert that they have done another search against me for the credit card.0

Hi, I'm new having a Halifax account and I get that card offer come up, but it isn't pre-approved. You still have to apply so a credit check etc will be done.
I'm seeing after 6 month's if I get any pre-approved offers, although not sure if Halifax does them?
Anyone had approved offers with Halifax?
The offers online arent pre-approved. Guaranteed offers come up to the agent when you phone through, and in branch if they look you up though.100% G33K:D:D:D:D

I've had an agreement from Halifax today, all I need to do is sign it and send it back! So you were right Curt.!0

Congratulations, Funkygibbon.
I used to bank with Halifax and got a similar offer when I logged on once. However, they did their checks and declined me.
So I took out a Capital One card, paid off the balance in full, got an increase and lowered APR (by 5%.)
Got an offer from NatWest and pushed my luck, and they accepted me for their current promotion :j.0 -

Congratulations on the new card - glad it all worked out!
Sometimes their pre-approved offers are a bit muddling and even though i have never had one i somehow managed to figure it out in the 3 years i have had a CC with them. (Just in time for them to probably go change it all now Llloyds have taken over, just as i figure it out! :rotfl:)
Until now they didn't have an automated system to enter info if you call from Overseas or their geographic #, and UK only call centers + 24 hour services so all in all i have found hem to be outstanding.
Only can hope you have the same satisfaction i have with them. All the best with it.0 -
