    Fuelmizer,
I am so sorry that you are having to try and sort this out. The solicitor your mother went to should be thoroughly ashamed.
I have been to a solicitor myself regarding this recently to try and ensure that ds will not be worse off than dd due to his medical condition in years to come. Still have to get it all written up though just not sure what a suitable amount would be right now(guess it dependent on the severity of his disease over next few years)
I can understand people getting cross in what they see as"swindling the tax payer" but your mum obviously worked hard to leave you all something, it is a shame that she was given such poor legal advice.
  • Thanks to all those who put forward helpfull advice, I apoligise to SH1305 as I was wound up by an earlier post ("talking loopholes" who had'nt read my post properly) another who could do with reading lessons is the bottom line, if you can't be helpfull don't bother posting!!!
They are definately on DLA but I will have to discuss their full benefits with them, then see where we can go with the suggestions that have been posted. I will post again when I have sorted the situation.
Thanks again to all the positive and constructive posters,
    fuelmizer

Apology accepted. Like it has been said, DLA won't be affected.

As a blind person I think my reading skills are very high, but thanks for the suggestion.
Only 3% of those registered blind in the UK have zero vision.
