I don't believe it. Turned my back and turned around and ie was up with a website 'cursor mania' or something. Looks like it is back!!!
Try this:First, uninstall Cursor Mania from Add/Remove Programs1) Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel3) Find "My Web Search (Cursor Mania)" in the list of installed programs and click on Change/Remove to uninstall it. You may also want to uninstall any of the following items associated with FunWebProducts.
2) Double click on Add/Remove Programs- My Web Search (Smiley Central or FWP product as applicable)
- My Way Speedbar (Smiley Central or other FWP as applicable)
- My Way Speedbar (AOL and Yahoo Messenger) (beta users only)
- My Way Speedbar (Outlook, Outlook Express, and IncrediMail)
- Search Assistant - My Way
4) Reboot your ComputerMy advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.0 -

Use Firefox or Chrome.
Both are far superior browsers.
I use Chrome and I simply do not get pup-ups. Ever.0 -

I don't think that AVG & SAS do the same thing as such and periodically using on demand scanners such as SAS or Malwarebytes' over & above your regular anti-virus is always a good idea. (wouldn't personally use AVG though, I'd go with Avast)
Good luck with the cleaning, hope you get it sorted !
