I keep getting random pages opening when im surfing the net, i use firefox but every so often IE opens and its an advertising page, ive run Malwarebyte and Spybot S&D and it picks up nothing, any other ideas, its a work PC so im limited in what i can install onto it.
Thanks
Edit - ive just had a message to download Index.php from totalhealth4life.com which i refused (this seems to have stopped now as i added it to the restricted list on IE)

Try scanning your PC with SuperAntiSpyware - tutorial here. However, you could also try looking at your Internet Explorer homepage to make sure it hasn't been changed. My advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.0

homepage has not changed, i will run a scan with the above and see what happens, thanks
WOW, 252 threats detected already!:beer:0 -
EXACTLY the same has started happening to me at about the same time.
Without giving too much away, can you give me a clue which company you work for?0 -
@Kingsd316 - Well I hope it solves your problem. My advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.0

if you can, install ccleaner (it's free) and clean up the registry, sounds like dodgy malware for sure. surprised malwarebytes didn't get it!Friendly greeting!0

Ive only ran a quick scan with Malwarebytes, if super antispyware doesnt sort it i will run a full one in the morning, i had to cancel the last one as i started it at 13:30 and it hadnt finished when i was due to go home at 5
Bloody hell - 3371 detected now:beer:0 -
OK. So we are not on the same network then. I am running our company Anti-virus, and it has found 1 infection so far, but unfortunately it doesn't provide much more info until the scan is complete.
When it has finished, I will add my findings. Although there is no indication of how long that may be!0 -
So far its found only one in the registry looks like its Rogue.component/trace, the rest seem to be cookies, could the registy one be my problem:beer:0

Maybe - remove the SuperAntiSpyware findings and re-start your pc and see if you get the same problem back again. So far its found only one in the registry looks like its Rogue.component/trace...could the registy one be my problemMy advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.0
