Got concerned though when it went to 3-3 Mart  but hey, 5-3 winners in the end was good, disappointing crowd of less than 4,000 though :(

    So todays plan; luckily I got quite a few bits done last night while pottering when the Xfactor was on, so today I need to do;
    • christmas shoebox
    • ironing
    • tescos (with already made shopping list :))
    • trip to the park or beach
    • baths
    • clean bathroom
    • hoover through
    • clean kitchen floor
Think thats about all at the minute, will add to the list as I think of more :D

Ah, don't worry too much about the crowd as there were some low attendances everywhere yesterday. Went to Rushden & Diamonds yesterday (won 1-0 :j) and there was only 1,666 there for a top of Conference v League One.

When you play us in the second round, there'll be a few more there.

Food shopping done, we nipped out early and bought the express and went to argos and managed to collect one of the free pictureureka board games (rrp £19.99) :j Really pleased with that, another xmas pressie sorted for free

Food shopping came in at £20 although I will need to do top-up bits during the week, although if I need to keep this weeks spends as low as possible. Car park tickets were £3.30 (had to park in 3 different ones).

We're just off out for a walk down the beach now then I'll crack on with the jobs when we get back :)

In the Sunday Express Laypink there was a voucher which you just needed to take into Argos and exchange for the pictureureka board game. They have it in their catalogue for £19.99, its a standard board game so will make a nice pressie or will be nice to play on xmas day :) An absolute bargain offer and the best one I've found for ages :T

We've just got back from the beach, we went for a walk down there with mum and dad and it was lovely, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful crisp autumnal day :) Ds played ball, we threw some stones in the sea, then stopped off for a cream tea on the way back :D

So, now time to crack on with baths, ironing and cleaning ...

So here we are again; another month ... another phone call to the csa ... another direct debit returned unpaid   but don't worry, they're gonna call him and ask him to pay  well thats alright then, I'm sure that'll do the trick ;)

Grrr!!! Anyway, other than that ... today has been a nsd :T I can't believe its only monday, it feels much later in the week than that. Ds has a tennis lesson tonight after school so I have time for a cup of tea and a biscuit before going to meet him. Dinner is fairly sorted too, we had roast yesterday and I dished up enough for tea tonight too :)

The lack of maintenance this month has really got me down again tonight :o I know I haven't factored this money into my budget but tbh, I do need some of it. Without it I can cover the basics but there really isn't any extra for treats or anything beyond necessities. This includes haircuts, clothes etc. Once food and petrol are covered there is literally £100 for the month for everything else, which includes going out, car parking, clothes, anything unexpected etc. While I can cope with this for a month or two while things are still going on in the background, I can't live like that indefinitely :( I need to start thinking longer term in case this does become how it is going to be going forward ... Whether this involves a second job, a different job altogether, or whatever else, I have no idea. Its not a nice thought and its so frustrating as its beyond my control once again

For now I am making a major effort to not spend unless needed, (got as far as the confirm payment page on a pair of Uggs for £53 that I've wanted for ages and ages, but made myself close the page :T), and I'm making a huge effort to stay within budget for xmas presents. The diaries/calendars earlier will help with that but I need to keep finding decent offers like that to keep it on track. I am also thinking about not going to the work xmas meal this year; I have been every year so far and do enjoy it, but its £20 for the meal and then we go for drinks after which, coupled with a taxi home, is another £30 on top. Maybe this year I'll just go along for the drinks after and save myself a bit there? Not even really saiving anything, I just don't have the money for it in the first place :o Or maybe the holiday fund has to be stopped for another year? I could use my tesco vouchers for lots of useful stuff in the current double up offer, and make do for another year without a foreign holiday? Maybe I save a smaller amount each month towards a holiday for the year after instead?

Aaaaaghh!!! I hate feeling like this! Think I may also get another go at entering comps, its free, keeps me busy and hey I might win something nice :)

I also have quite a few surveys in my inbox which I need to get filled in, it all helps doesn't it?!

All the surveys from my inbox have now been done, most had already finished, but at least the inbox is once again under control :)
