Morning all, well he replied last night saying they were a row of big smiles :) We then had quite a long text conversation which was pretty flirty and lots of fun, but then when I logged into f/b this morning he's put on his status about how much he's missing his g/f :( Grr men, blinking useless all of 'em ;)

So today; we have already written a list, mainly of stuff we didn't do yesterday but it all must get done today. First off is cleaning the guinea-pigs, then I'm having a bath, followed by making mums birthday cake. While thats cooking/cooling we'll do ds homework (only a bit left to do) and then print out a train timetable he made yesterday, ice the cake, go and watch some trains and then collect my grandad and go to mums for dinner. Somewhere in there I need to do a tesco order for delivery too.

Been doing some thinking while I was in the bath and have decided after all to use isa money for the new laptop. The isa money is there essentially for unexpected costs and this seems to fall in that bracket. This way I should be able to stay motivated with my mortgage pot and the isa money is basically not making me anything at the moment anyway as the interest rate is below inflation, so in effect I'm losing money by saving :o So assuming the maintenance money comes in October then it will be headed for the mortgage pot after all :)

They are for a comping challenge, basically you need to try to win a prize beginning with each letter of the alphabet. As you can see I started quite well but I haven't entered a compe for about 3 months now :o another of those things that went to pot when everything kicked off with the police ...

So, we've done all the jobs from my list and then I received another text from my friend ... this time asking how my day was going? I replied and he replied telling me about his day. I replied asking why he wasn't seeing his g/f this weekend and he replied 'x' which has totally confused me yet again :o I don't get it, whats that supposed to mean?? Now I have a feeling things aren't that official between them (they met on a dating site about 6 months ago, she lives about an hour from him, she is 10yrs older with 4 kids, he has been talking on f/b about going to Oz for a year next year), but then I don't know ... aaagh!!!

Hmm I don't know Sea, this morning he posted some photos onto f/b and one was of him sat in his kitchen and he'd written under it 'missing **' which is his g/f's name (but also mine!). I really don't know tbh, I've never even met him, he was someone I started chatting with on pof, then he went on a date with her and they've been together for about 6 months, and in that time I haven't heard from him. I sent him a happy birthday message on f/b a couple of weeks ago and suddenly he's texting me most days :D:D We had talked (months ago) about meeting up and going for a walk down the beach, but then I didn't hear from him, but last night he asid that next time he's over this way he'll call me and we can meet up for that walk ...

hmm...sounds very odd - maybe just ask him straight out? the x thing seems strange. I haven't heard from my date today so I think that is that, which is a shame, as I liked him, but not the end of the world!! :)

but I thought I was asking him straight out by asking why he wasn't seeing her this weekend, and he replied x :o:o Surely then he could have said if they were / weren't still together?? Maybe he does just see me as a mate to chat to, but isn't that a bit odd if he's got a fairly new g/f, seeing as we've never met and only were in touch because we were both on a dating site and looking to meet up?? Aww, I'm too old for all this lark :rotfl:
