Morning all, doesn't feel like its time to be up yet, I really need to start getting a good nights sleep again soon

So today after school we have swimming lesson followed by the weekly shop in tescos, then home to make tea and try to carry on sorting out the new laptop. I really don't know what can be done about the old one and all the stuff on it, might speak to an I.T. guy at school today.
Right, time to go and get on with more stuff, have a good day!!

We had a laptop die on us and removed the hardrive and brought an external case for it that then plugs into your usb slot and you can effectivly use it as an external drive (and get at all your documents)...DH says there's 2 sorts of cases depending on your hard drive so if you want some advice just shout.
Cases are around £3 from ebay.

Forgot to mention, a games offer made me £22.50 profit today too, so thats £32.50 made today, think I will put it towards the laptop fund for now, I spent £400 yesterday on it, I * should * get £350 in maintenance at the beginning of October, so that plus todays money = £382.50, so another £17.50 to find. If the maintenance money doesn't arrive then I'll dip into one of my isa's.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

I managed a fairly early night lasy night and at least feel awake this morning

Today should be a straightforward kinda day, I do need to try and find some time to make a nice long list of bits and pieces I need to get done as I seem to have a thousand and one things going round in my head at the moment and I need to get them written down and then work on crossing them off the list

When my old PC died (full of stuff I needed:o), the kind peopkle on the techie board recommended some lead which I bought on ebay. My dad removed the hard drive, connected it to the new pc so it acted as an external hard drive then I could recover what I wanted. I can't remember the name of the cable thing...sounds like what Pooky used too.
I also paid darn PC World to save all the data from the old PC....which they did wrong...then said they'd thrown out my hard drive when I went back to say my stuff wasn't saved as promised. I had to go behind the desk to show the *expert* where all my documents and photos were saved.... 'Oh we didn't look there' he says....argghhhh! I don't trust them now;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Totally agree on PC worlds Tech Guys not worth bothering with. My cable was starting to fail so they sold me a cable not suitable and when I went back to get my old one back they had lost it. Then they wanted £79 for a second hand cable which to be fair did work but they are £20 on Amazon.
Hope you sort the new laptop out and well done on the MB you are doing great.Save £12k in 25 No 49

So home from school, via the park, and i have managed to start writing down a list of things I need to do. Most are really dull bits but it may jsut clear the fog thats in my head at the moment and let me actually crack on with some of it

I have managed 2 loads of washing today and the flat is tidy (except for the lounge). I will try and do some cleaning in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen tonight, so at least those rooms will be finished, leaving the lounge to tackle tomorrow.
I did buy 2 boxes of Matchmakers (£1 each) in co-op tonight to start off my xmas goodie box for home.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
