We went to the local soft-play place after school, they were doing a freebie day ;) Spends today = approx £10 on milk, dinner, sweets and a snack at work.

Spoke to the csa again today, they reckon I may get a payment in October after all, we'll see  ....

Tonight I've done some housework but still have plenty more to do, I'm hoping a couple of mates are coming down from London at the weekend, so need to get on top of it :o

Ds has gone to his dads, I have a night out with mates from school tonight, I won't be drinking though, I want to save that for tomorrow night :D

Had a phonecall tonight to say that ds has got on to a tennis course after school on mondays, starting after half-term :j Am really pleased about this, I want to encourage him to be more sporty so this may be a good start ;)

Then I had another phonecall to say he's been moved up a stage at swimming :T :T However, the only vacancies at the next level are on sunday mornings at the moment. This meant I had to phone ex as I couldn't expect ds to pass on the message as we needed to discuss it, so cue one stilted conversation where the outcome was I have said that ds can stay in the group he's currently in for now and wait for a space to come up on another day, but I won't wait for too long as I don't intend to keep paying for a level that he can already do and if one doesnt come up then he will have to go into the sunday group and ex will have to make arrangements around it :p

Other news tonight, mum has decided (after lotsof encouragement from me) to get a dog :j :j She's probably going for a King Charles Spaniel or something like that :D

Right, time to get ready and head off out although I'm knackered already lol :)

Morning all :) I had a lovely night last night, didn't spend too much (about a fiver), although I didn't get home til 1.20ish and then couldn't sleep, so am far too tired today, never mind, not much planned!

Had a letter from the csa today telling me my new payment schedule, according to them I * should * get paid on 1st October (£351) and then get £295 each month after that. We'll see ....

So today, my aim for today is to get on top of the flat again, it has become a bit untidy and needs a damn good clean ;) Other than that I need to sort out the garage fob once and for all, clean the guinea pigs out, look for any matched bets, veg on the sofa for an hour or so this afternoon and then have a bath and get ready for another night on the town :D:D

Wow, its amazing what the thought of visitors turning up can do for you in terms of housework! So far I have stripped the beds, remade them, loaded the dishwasher and put it on, done 2 loads of washing, tidied all rooms, dusted and hoovered the bedrooms and the lounge, cleaned the bathroom, mended the broken shower-screen, taken the rubbish out, cleaned the bathroom floor, filed all paperwork and polished the table :D

Time for a quick tea-break now before finishing off cleaning the kitchen, tidying away the dvds putting ds certificates back up on his wall and cleaning the guinea pigs :)
