I've just posted on f/b but wanted to say on here as well - Yay to being freed! A weight can be lifted from your shoulders.
Big hugs about your dad - I don't know if you remember (think I may have said before?), my FIL has vascular dementia following a big stroke and it is heartbreaking to see him. Unfortunately, my MIL was unable to care from him as she has bad health herself, so when he was released from hospital, he had to go into a home. I admire your mum being able to cope with looking after your dad.0 -
