I hope that your Solicitor has some news for you today BB.
Absolutely chucking it down here in the North East so I have no excuse but to get my Ebay head on.
I must check out some matched betting offers too.
Hope you have a good day xBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Its not looking so sunny here already

Posite has brought me a dividend cheque from my isa today for £16  A very nice and unexpected surprise

The rest of my Next order has finally arrived :j I'm sending back a dress (£15) and a bag (£10), the dress is hideous and the bag is okay but not nice enough to warrant keeping

I'm keeping a white kaftan (£5), a pair of Nike sandals for ds (£9) and a pair of white linen trousers for ds for next summer (£6.50).
I'm already planning a holiday next summer with ds, a proper holiday, abroad, with a pool and a kids club and lots of sun
Think I will need to factor this into my budget to make it more achievable but it will happen
I do need to see how the Next account is coming along because I haven't sent back as much stuff as I thiought I would this time, although I didn't order anywhere near as much as normal either

Cross-posted there Chev
, I was really hoping he may have heard something as otherwise I might have to take time off work to go and do the statement etc, whereas I'd rather get it out of the way while I'm on holiday really

I have been saving up my Clubcard points so that next year we can use 4 x the amount towards a holiday, you can use them for airmiles too.
It does make you feel a bit better if you have a holiday to look forward to I think. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I've been saving my clubcard points for ever too but the nearest airport for any of the companies you can use is Gatwick, I'd much prefer to go from Bournemouth (due to my flying phobia, the longer I have to be hanging round an airport / getting to an airport etc the worse I will be). So I may look into holidays from Bournemouth and sell the vouchers on ebay and put the money towards it. I know they are supposed to be 4 x the value but they don't always work out as much as that as you can't use any discounts with them, so often only work out at around double their value.
Today we've done some more of ds thankyou letters (2 to go
), delivered and posted them, posted a couple of parcels that needed to go (£1.49), bought some sweets and milk (£3.22), been to mums and cleaned out the guinea-pigs and have just got home. Ds is happily playing with toys while I have ten minutes or so on here catching up
Forgot to mention yesterday that I filled up with petrol (£31.20).Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Forgot to mention another idea I had; as the next few months are going to be just as tight as this one I needed to think about where the money was coming from to pay for Next. I decided that as I had originally aimed to make £1000 during the summer holidays, well I have achieved that once mymaintenance money comes (did you notice I said *when* not *if*
positive thinking and all that
), anyway, as I would have got there then maybe any more money I make this month can go towards paying Next (£65 after this months scheduled payment), the new fob for my garage door (about £40) and towards starting my holiday fund (£50).
So, £155 to make between now and the end of the month, I reckon I can do that
I have also decided that if I can try and put £50 a month away into a holiday fund pot, plus my clubcard vouchers (approx £160 of vouchers, possibly £320 on ebay). This would give me nearly £1000 towards a holiday, I may see if a friend from work who's newly single and her son want to come with us as it works out so much cheaper if there are 4 of you instead of 2
