Undentified bugs in my home - please help!

Thanks for all your posts - the album was called silverfish because I previously had them as well.
When I moved in six months ago I lifted all carpets etc, bleached the floors, sealed any cracks in timber / walls etc. I also took out the kitchen and fitted a brand new one and yet I have never seen these bugs bigger than say 1mm that's why its hard to get a clear pic. It's awkward with involving the Council because I work there so it will be very embarrassing. If it is roaches surely there must be some bigger ones hiding somewhere?
One thing which might be significant I have a problem with condensation/mould.
The bugs are quite pale in colour, almost a whitey yellow

Could someone else take one in to the council to get it identified?0

If these are 'baby' cockroaches, why isn't the OP finding the adults scuttling around as well??
Are the insects in question these? :

I think although I'm not 100% sure that cockroaches are nocternal. Normally if you see the adults during the day it could mean the infestation is pretty bad. I'm not sure about the baby ones maybe its just confused?Nothing to report:p0 -
It is a nymph, a newly born cockroach. Nymphs do walk around in the daytime.Owed out = lots. :cool:0

they look like the things you usually see in fields of long grass to me.
if you have lots of fields around you ..has the farmer recently mowed them ..?
all the best.markj0 -
There is nothing to be embarrased about, contact the Council even though you work for them.
Most people have probably had an infestation of some sort at some time. I had had fleas (curtousy of cats) on a couple of occaisions.
The 1st was in a rented flat, where the previous owners had a cat. When they left and we moved in the fleas fed on me instead. Then again in my own house from my own cat. When the cat moved to my boyfriends while I went away, I got back home and they all lept on me as soon as I came into the house. I could see them crawling into my jeans. I ran into the street and stripped off and got into the car. Not sure what I thought I was going to do next.
It's a bit like headlice. No one likes to admit they have had them in the family, but if you manage to have the courage to mention your kids have bought them home from school, the person you are talking to normally says "yea, we have had that problem. Costs us a fortune in lice killer".I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
If you google 'baby cockroach' the fourth image on the first post looks identical.0

The picture is blurry and you haven't given any idea of scale, but they are very small they could be psocids.0
