How to get the best deals out of Mobile Phone companies?
Hey guys
As the title says what do you reckon is the best way to get a deal out of Mobile Phone Providers?
From my experience:
1. Never ask for an upgrade yourself, but wait for them to call you.
2. If you are desperate call the cancellation department, tell them you want to leave, and wait for them to say why leave etc.. which is when you say all you can think off and hope they offer you something?
3. Tell your moving providers and need pac code.
Any more advise i might have missed out on~?
Thanx guys

Couple of things I can think of. Firstly, if you know anyone who works for a mobile company. They're sometimes entitled to discounts, whether the phone is for them or not.
Second one's a bit dubious. You can 'bend the truth' a little. Never done this myself, but I know people who've called their providers and said 'I've had such and such an offer from another provider. Can you match or beat it'.
The offer of course being totally made up...
Only problem there is that if you're too greedy they'll probably suss what you're up to and not offer you anything at all
