Sheltered outside I would do for October! But, if you are in the highlands or somewhere very cold, judge it by the weather conditions! :) many thanks aplaceinthesun, I will add them :)

A few days ago I pulled up my first crop of peas which had finished. Have just dug them into a trench on the site where they were growing, covered them with earth to rot down and sown some dwarf French beans in the soil. I've kept the area well watered and the first beans are already showing through so I expect a September crop.

Depends on what you mean - what can be planted when.....do you mean propagated, or sown; and many of people's problems occur when they sow correctly and then don't harden off properly before planting out.

Quite a lot of the crops you listed as being sown in March can be sown in April to the beginning of May, and I definitely wouldn't sow chilli or sweet peppers in January.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p
