I thought I would start a thread where we add as we go along what can be planted when.

OK.... I will start just by putting in the posts for all of the months and you can help me add to it :)

I will add some things in now. If you have anymore! Please post and I will add them to the top :)

I sow a late crop of mangetout in late August and get a small crop until Christmas - providing it does not snow. Copes with frost but not gales.

Are the things from October onwards planted in a greenhouse or outside? (Sorry I'm a newbie)
  • I sow Rapini and Kailaan up until October and leave in the greenhouse if its really cold but have grown it outisde in a sheltered position from a late sowing - that crops up until christmas. Quite a few oriental greens can be sown up till then if not after. HTH
