Call from sky, possible scam????

Just recieved a call from sky (allegedly) telling me there was a problem with my broadband, and asking me to download a programme from teamviewer, when i questioned the validity of the download, and stated there was no mention of sky on the webpage, and that i was not happy to continue, he hung up, the call seemed to originate from overseas, has anybody had anything similar??

almost certainly - sounds liek the virus software scam that was posted on here. Do you have the telephone number? post it here but also try googling it!House saving Targets:

I dont recieve calls if the number is withheld, so when i checked on 1471 it said we do not have the callers number, which usually means its a call from overseas.Thankyou Sir Alex for 26 years0 -
