SKY - Help

This will probably be one of the most common questions about sky but anyway, I was just wondering if anybody can help...

I currently have sky TV broadband and phone. The TV I have all the channels including sky sports and movies. My other half is saying we cannot afford it and should reduce the package. The thing is I watch nothing else on the TV apart from sports or movies, even if its for 15 mins I will watch a film. I really couldn't be without it, if I had to reduce costs I would rather be without it at all as I simply couldn't do it.

If I were to phone them and threaten to cancel, would they make my subs cheaper and keep the same package or would they laugh and say goodbye.

This is going to sound really rude but do you think you are addicted? I can go for weeks without watching TV of any kind. It's not normal to have this strong need to watch TV.

Not sure if i'm addicted.

I phone them and they offered with nothing lol. take my broadband down 2.50 and sign up to another 12 months broadband, and switch my line rental and save 1.50 lol. I suppose every little would help.

There are a number of free movie channels available once you cancel movies. I still get film 4, tcm, horror, movies for men (lol corny but funny). I am sure there are a couple more too.

Not surprised you got pretty much nothing as a deal to stay, I rang to haggle for a sky plus box and they wernt interested so I said fine, basic + news please. Much cheaper now and have an excuse to go the pub to watch the footy ;P
