it is quite a comprehensive cordless ans-phone for the money!A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

i need a new one as well. The 3 button has gone on my phone so you literally have to punch the 3 to get it to work
You could try taking it apart and giving the pads underneath a clean with a cotton wool bud - our phone occasionally does the same thing; a quick clean and it's good as new.0 -
just thought i would let people know that this is now avilable online but in a quad pack!!!!!

Your lucky it was a miss-price and just pulled..0 -
I did wonder as it seemed a slightly better phone than the Tesco instore one as it had blue back light, however neither phones description has the fact that it can be used with a headset which is what I wanted and at least with the Tesco instore offer I could check the side of the phones0

Although I did notice Divadee was looking for a Tesco code so she may well have missed the offer0

does anyone know if the telephone book is specific to each phone or does it have a global phone book?
I have a philips system that I am looking to replace and this has a global phonebook ie you only need to enter it once and then all handset can access it. I have had ones in the past(binatone) that you have to key in the phonebook for each phone( pain when there is three)
Does anyone know?0 -
40 name and number phonebook per phone
so you have to enter in each phone0 -
Quad pack - £29.99 - I ordered these earlier and got a confirmation email saying there would be next day delivery. Just had a guy from Tesco 'phone me to say that the product was wrongly described - you only get one handset, not four. Did I want to proceed? Well, £30 for a single handset is not very competetive so I said no. There was actually a pic of 4 handsets so I'm wondering if this was a misprice and Tesco are getting out of honouring it by saying the description was wrong, not the price.
We have been looking for new 'phones for a while, but I'm not too bothered as we preferably wanted black ones not silver.
edit - also delivery is £4.95 I think, which adds a bit to the price.0
