Can anyone give me advice please
Hello all,
Apologies if i'm in the wrong section but i'm new to this site and really need some help.
I had a contract mobile phone with 3 mobile back in 2006 when i lived at my parents old house, last year i had a debt collection agency ring me to tell me that i owed them £99.00 and the debt was collected from 3 Mobile.
The snag is that i'm sure i paid it all up fully and then transfered it too a pay as you go phone, all this when i moved to my new house in a diffrent location, my mail was forwarded to the new address for a year and i even recall ringing them at my new address and changing it there, however, here is the problem it was 3 years ago and i have nothing from that date as i did the sensible thing and shredded it all.
I can't really prove anything, the only thing i have done is request a complete billing statement to show what i paid through the contract and how they come to £99.00 as it seems a really bizzarre figure to me, all they keep sending me is a single sheet with the 3 logo on it and the amount i need to pay with a giro slip and they are saying that is a statement,
So anyone got any ideas how i can get this all sorted out ?

If you paid by CC or DC you could get the bank to supply you with the records from the time in question and the give 3 the dates of the payments...0
