What replaces the Nokia 6230i ?
Options
My contract with e2save/Orange is almost up and whilst I like the size of the 6230i the keys are a bit fiddly and loudspeaker could be louder to use as a hands free in its dashboard holder - can anyone recommend another Nokia that you feel I should look at as a replacement phone, and although I have not experienced too much trouble in cash-back that a phone call hasn't resolved, who now is the best 'on-line' dealership I could be looking at for my next contract (saving my present number) ?

Not a specialist in any way but I also have the 6230i which is currently up for renewal. I have sought advice on this forum and to be honest IMO its going to be the Samsung D900 if I can get the right sort of deal for my usage. Having looked on upgrades within the various magazines it appears that the N 6233 is the natural replacement for the N 6230i. But to be honest on this subject you have to be open to options of other phones. I have had nothing but Nokias for the past 12 years but the forum all but begs you to look at equivalents DEPENDING ON YOUR OWN NEEDS of course.

I'm in the same situation as you have a Nokia 6230i the phone's ok, I really like Nokia's so have been looking at the Nokia 6233 (replacement for 6230i) or the Nokia 6280, I also like the look of the Samsung D900 & E900.
The cheapest/most mins deal with CPW, Mobileshop.com or e2save will get my vote.Nearly debt free

I would try the nokia N range. A nokia N70/N80 is a nice phone to use. Large screen, good camera, a bit larger than a 6230i but loads more functionsI came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0

Don't know if you are still in the market for new contract, I have been cajouled by OH to try the Samsung D900. Got it yesterday and YES its got some different quirks from the 6230i but it feels quality software and very clear. So far I can recommend it, and I got a reasonably good deal for my particular usage:beer:"Did you hear about the frog that broke down on the motorway???? They toad him away!"0
