Try web messenger
http://webmessenger.msn.com/
Official MSN stuff, just don't have to install anything.0 -
when it fails, i remember there's a link to troubleshoot
i find that is useful when i cant connection to msn0 -
if it still refuses to work then ther may be a corruption in the program
unistall messenger live and reload version 7
http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=msnm
MSN Messenger 7.0 (7.0 MB)
and then make sure hers log on and then upgrade againEx forum ambassador

If no one else can sign in using any other msn ids (easy to create a new one to try - ask your daughter how if you don't know), then maybe it's the actual connection of MSN. MSN has a nifty tool that if you click the troubleshooting button (I believe it appears after a few failed login attempts in a row). This troubleshooting section checks your internet connection and tries to resolve any problems due to that. This has solved a few of my connection issues in the past, both for MSN and my internet connection as a whole.
Hope this helps0 -
This may be stupid, but is she signing in with the correct name and password?...is there a chance the "Caps Lock" key is depressed....I know you've probably checked all this....but sometimes its the simple things.....oh....and finally she hasn't logged on to msn on someone elses pc and forgotton to log off?I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0 -
The trouble shoot said everything was ok
Ithink I'll try uninstalling and doing it again, we do have the latest one.
I hope it keeps all the addresses etc!! or I'll have to move out LOL0 -

i have been having problems from today with msn messenger.
perhaps the trouble is a little more widespread.
would like to know if others have problems from today??0 -
It could be a multitude of things, but the way i see it is, you need to contact ms and tell them your account has possibly been seized, they'll ask you a series of questions to verify it's you, and send you a special password clearing link which you use to change your password.0
