Tri Band or Quad band Phones

Does anyone know where I can get a cheap sim free tri-band or quad-band phone? I am emigrating to Canada soon and my current phone won't work over there when I end my contract.

I quite like the Motorola razors, where is the cheapest place for these bearing in mind it has to be sim free or unlocked?

Is it true that Carphone Warehouse PAYG phones are unlocked already?

most prepay handsets are locked to the network they are provided by, and contract phones tend to be the unlocked ones

Quad band phones will work in more places than triband phones
