I have received a letter from Moorcroft today for a debt I have with the RBS on a mint cc....
This was originally with another DCA so why has it been passed to Moorcroft and what do you think I should do next....
I have just started getting my bits together to start a DMP with the CCCS so I was going to post them the standard letter with the token payment, but after reading this I dont know what to do for the best.....
Any advice would be good, thanks

littleclover - CCA them. Send it recorded, and do NOT sign anything if Moorcroft (or any other DCA for that matter) ever asks.

Got a reply from Moorcroft, you may be interested to hear...

I never did happen to mention to them that I had the correct balance in writing from Orange all along... Oh the fun!

They have responded to my letter saying I've grassed them up to the FOS by STILL denying that they ever added the charges and trying to deflect my complaint onto Orange. The real blinder though is they are actually telling me off for contacting the FOS as Orange are not part of the financial services industry, even going so far as to enclose a leaflet about the FOS and it's work. Good grief this is hillarious! :rotfl:

Having said all of that, they've run off with thier tail between thier legs and handed back to Orange. :T I think they are hoping I shall let it slide, PMSL will I f***! :rotfl:

I will be sending the FOS a copy of this mornings little deflection tactic, with a further objection to Moorcroft continuing to attempt to mislead, for which I shall look up the appropriate OFT guideline for good measure. :beer:

I will send Moorcroft a wee note too, to let them know I had Oranges position in writing all along. Oh and since the FOS complaint was about them, a DCA, it does still very much stand and I am interested to see the outcome. This of course will also be forwarded to the FOS, marked as "CC: The FOS" on the bottom so Moorcroft know it too. :cool:

I am actually enjoying this, I never thought I would. After the FOS have finished I think I will pass the whole case to the OFT for consideration at Licence Renewal Time to boot. :A
