seriously... you cannot be removed from that property for many months.... maybe even until the beginning of 2011.... so try not to panic....
i know exactly what you mean about stress and uncertainty.. they are a lethal combination !!0 -
Ok, starting to fret again.
After 5 years of living semi rurally with large gardens and vegetable patches We have gained 11 Chickens, 4 Cats, 1 Dog - and despite living in a beautiful and utterly immaculate home (despite a mud track drive and the wood burners) no one will consider us for a rent with pets.
Obviously we are unlikely to come across such a bargain with the land and lovely home we have but even looking and ‘cheap and cheerful’ they just won’t accept pets – even with the offer of a extra deposit for pet damage.
Thank you Clutton, I know we are not likely to be ’out on our ear’ soon but I wanted to see what was out there rental wise as we are going to have to move sooner or later.
1. Wow prices are much steeper than 5 years ago and you get a lot less for your money
2. Restrictions pets/kids/smokers/HB – I don’t remember this the last time we were looking. (we only have the pets… none of the others lol)
I have called most of the country parks and estates locally (who are aware of the goings on as the LL was large local Landowner) because they don’t batter an eyelid when you say you have chickens/dos/cats. There was only one cottage available @£925 – which is well out of our range.
I have gone goggleeyed staring at property sitesPlease note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0
