what's best chicken wings or thighs?

I always go for thighs too, but I try to take off the excess skin from underneath as I think it makes them too greasy.

I've seen that Nigel Slater programme. He roasts the wings, takes the meat off the bones and puts it in a baguette with mayo. Seemed a lot of messy hassle to me for a chicken sarnie. But saying that, I do love chewing the lovely sticky meat off bbq chicken wings. If your dish is going to be quite saucy, I would use thighs.
