Morning all,
vwcampervan, done now, good luck x
Have loads of chores to do today, so better make a start soon xx0 -
I am thinking about building a little helper site for the comps here. (I am a pro web developer).
I am thinking about just taking the comps listed here into my database (will of course say where the comps come from, and won't be making any money what-so-ever).
I can then allow users to chose to display comps by date (this can be tricky currently via MSE, and I find that Google just doesn't include everything when you do a search).
Further enhancements could be some sort of "Tagging". Users could select a comp, and apply certain tags, like "DVD/Blu-Ray", "Cash", "ITV" etc etc.
This would I guess have to be done manually by the community here, but it may help people to find specific comps they want to enter (I'd be liking straight back to MSE).
What do people think about this idea? Would you use it? Would you help with applying tags etc?
As I said before, it will, and will always be a free service to help this fantastic community.0 -

mp3duck, sounds like you're very clued up with stuff but i'm not a very techie person so i'm just sort of used to how mse comps work as it is.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Non-comping question:
On the grabbit thread there is a deal for a breadmaker from Curry's at £13.99 & I am tempted. Do any of you have one & if so would you recomend or is it another faddy thing that gets used daily for first 4 weeks & then ends up in the cupboard? Also are these easy & foolproof to use?0 -
Good question fin! I'd love one of these too & wondered if they're any good! I love the smell of freshly baked bread.
You try it out & send me a sample!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
I have never seen them at £13.99 before wingo & its a nice stainless steel one - mmm black olive & sundried tomato bread - I can taste it already0
