Hi NNW - Thought I was on my ownsome tonight - Since back when I still lived with me old ma & da I always had the girls round when they went on holiday at the Glesga fair (time when people from Glasgow go on hols) & we still stick to this all these years later - my parents quite happy as ther house doesn't look empty for the full time they are away & are proud that the old tradition still stands - they still phone from wherever they are & ask if I am behaving lol & all the girls have a wee min on the phone with them - last night was year 23 we think!

The neighbours in the last house I lived in with them used to let us put all the empty bottles (except a couple to make it look realistic) in their bin & the wife used to come in & check the cleaning was up to my mums standards before she came back to make sure we didn't get into trouble:D
