I have received a copy of your email from Dxxxx here at the Hotel Glasgow, explaining the issues that you have faced over the last day or so.

Firstly please do accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience that we have caused to you, it is not our intention to upset our guests. I do understand that the stay was of great importance to you in your current situation.

The hotel policy is to authorise all cards at check in & the authorisation should cancel once you check out, on this occasion this has not happened and I am extremely sorry for this.

I would like to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel in the future and am delighted to extend a complimentary upgrade for your next visit, please contact me directly and I will arrange this for you, my contact details are below.

I would write making clear the point you have been left in a financial predicament because of their mistake.

Did u contact ur bank? did they get the funds put back yet? xxx

when i called bank they still weren't in so i told them it was kinda urgent & the nice person put them straight in

i have told hotel i was greatly inconvenienced & financially embarrased with their mistake, & hope she would recompense appropriately :eek:

Had a good clean up this morning and promised the kids if they helped we would go to park later. Put my washing out then went to park. As soon as we got there it !!!!!! down!! Washing is still on the line. Guess i'll have to wash it again later.

Any good wins today anyone? No wins/post for me.

Hi all. Just thought I would pop my head in as I am having a break from comping as it stopped being fun for me.

Redbull I would defo chase this up with the hotels head office but keep copies of all your letters and the names of anyone you have spoken to concerning it with both the hotel and the bank. Stress the fact that it left you with no funds to purchase basic food items like bread and milk etc and that it was also embarrassing when you went to use your card only to fnd it wasn't accepted.

Just had a very rude call from 3 network. I got a missed call from them the other day so looked it up on who calls me and saw it from 3. I answered just now without realising and when they said 3 network I told them thanks but I'm not interested in changing my network and the man said..."you're not interested, you dont even know what I was going to say & i could be offering you a holiday but I'm not going to now!" :rotfl: Thanks to this call I will NEVER switch to 3network on my mobile!

Hi eveyone

wasn't here yesterday as my ME didnt cope well with my night out.
had a great time, but am really still suffering today. sooooo tired:(

hope after another good nights sleep ( wots one of them:rotfl:) i will feel better.

have migraine, so not managing comps so well, the price i have to pay to go out for first time in ages. or is it the strawberries ad cream shots that are the cause:rotfl:
