At the end of each week the winners names are passed on to a colleague who then contacts them via email and then if required by phone if the email address doesn't work to confirm their full address before sending the prizes out via Royal Mail Special Delivery."

I am really confused now and embarassed to have caused such a fuss. Thank you to Mystic charm and marialionza and everyone else.
It was a radio station they did say "you have been on our website on line to enter for a samsung netbook" they did ask "what record they had just played to win it " I cannot find any other radio station that are giving away netbooks in a competition . That is the only one I remember . The number they used goes to a dead line so I cannot check it out-I was surprised that it was not a London number but my OH says they could be based anywhere.
I accepted that I did not win "what will be will be" I love MSE and the way comps are posted and everyone helps and posts comps. Many thanks!! I have been very lucky with comps. When I posted here it was genuinely a way of trying to make others aware of what I was asked so they did not miss out like I did. Sorry for all this confusion,as it seems I might have got it wrong and it wasn't classic FM. If classic are not ringing people back Then who was it that rang me and asked that particular question .
I have now been searching for other radio stations but cannot come up with any current comps for a netbook. I really do not want to cause any fuss or trouble as i do not want to upset companies that are generously running comps. Or other compers.
Please ignore what I have said earlier in this thread and enter and be lucky xxxxxx I am not ungrateful for the help just really really embarrassed to have caused a fuss .:o
