Martin's Post on Days Out Board

It's intresting to note that the majority of MSE'ers replying to Martin's Post offering 50 pairs of Ideal Home Show Tickets are complete Newbies with only one post. This raises suspicion that some people may be creating multiple accounts to try and gain these tickets. Perhaps the Abuse Team will need to check I.P. addresses to stop people abusing the system and good-willed nature of Martin's offer??

There are more than 600,000 people receiving the email and whenever Martin runs a competition for tickets, magazines, books etc there are always a lot of new members join so they can post to say they would like them which is what Martin asks them to do.

As the winners are picked randomly this means everyone who enters has a fair chance no matter their joining date.

A competition always means lots of new users and hopefully before long they won't be new users but will be gaining from existing members help and advice by using the forum as well as receiving the email.
