susievw thanks for that. Its gorgeous. Great inspiration.
Tucker thanks for that link, I can fit in a corner bath and walk-in shower, according to that.
Does anyone know what the reccommended clearances are between sink/shower/loo et.c?Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Suzie, no they aren't travertine, just normal porcelain I think tiles. Bought from Nicobond which I tink may be a national company...... Reasonable too......
Glad it's an inspiration

I would love to have a shower instead of the shower over bath.I've had a bath over shower and now have a free standing one and would never go back.
Getting in and out of a bath is an accident waiting to happen at times and also the bath itself can be slippy. Our free standing shower is 4 inches off the floor, so it's far better for anyone who's a little less nimble or carrying a few additional pounds - not me of course, my body is a temple!
.
Can't remember the last time I used the bath (apart from soaking things - very useful for dumping paint brushes etc :rotfl:)
In an ideal world - like winning on the lottery I would love a walk-in shower.
However just not enough pennies in the purse.0 -
OOh crafty I'm loving that! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I have the dilemma about a 3 piece suite and over bath shower (haven't bathed in years but circumstances change) or squeeze a standard bath and separate shower in whilst currently planning a new bathroom. Bathroom is 2.55 x 1.7m. Thanks for the online planner links will give them a go. The dogs do occasionally get put in the bath though!0

Bath and seperate shower will be a MASSIVE squeeze in a room that size imo?!?0

Yes , hence my dilemma. Neighbours two doors away have done it but I think their bathroom is slightly wider. It used to have a standard 3 piece suite and hot water tank in an airing cupboard until a combi boiler was put in. Currently has a corner bath , loo and washbasin. Online planner seems to suggest it can be done. I don't want a big washbasin but not a cloakroom one. Ideally 500mm but haven't checked them out yet. The other space saving can be done by using a narrow loo but how 'user friendly are they?' My parents have one and they aren't convinced. Can't find any info about spacing between pottery items so don't want to make an expensive mistake.0
