I was initially told they 'catch up' eventually.. then when I spoke to some people who work with SN children and said it they looked at me like I was loopy and said had they told me that rubbish as well and they they never catch up.. it is a disability/damage to a part of the brain and they do not outgrow it.. I think the fact that he would never be 'normal' hit home really hard then.. but I do prefer to know what is what and deal with it then.. I did wonder if they tell you they will catch up to soften the blow and give you hope.. but it does seem wrong.

I did wonder to be honest if what they had told me was the truth especially after he was seen at great Ormond street( By rheumytologist) and the DR's there were disgusted with the fact so little had been done for him and wrote a stinking letter to paed. They did all the basic blood tests for me there and then but they have all come back as fine so not sure what they will say next.
To be honest I am glad you told me that, but he will always be my little boy no matter what is wrong with him.:D

And I'm still officially a rubbish flyer, that rubbish i think my 'L' plates may have blown of..... :o

lol, i am trying my best not to beat myself up about it, but my bathroom is still requiring it's clean from yesterday. I'm not even going to try and put a reason for that because even though i was busy i have nothing to show for it. busy doing stuff that doesn't give a visible result iykwim! how frustrating. i could've done it later on last night, but once i plonk my bum on the sofa at 8.30/9pm, that's me done, i fall asleep! :o

my focus for tonight and tomorrow night after work is to get us organised and packed for our holibobs, i fear the house will have to remain a minging mess til i get back and can start again properly. i usually do all my cleaning at weekends but i'm starting to resent spending my 2 days off cleaning, hence my wish to get my bum in gear and do it through the week. this week being as it is i fear i may have picked the wrong week to start though.... :(

repeat after me - bit-by-bit-by-bit-by-bit..... :rotfl:
