  • I think perhaps you need a contingency plan for ferrying sprogs for that week, Piggers.

AB, other than the cat goes in through flap and survives, cat goes out through and survives stuff, cat psychological warfare has to take place.

I would suggest finding said Mog's dealbreaker food - the one for which they would woof like a dog and beg if it was going to get them a piece/remove your fingers if you're too slow. One of mine does it for mutton curry, another for fresh prawns. You are one side with the treat outstretched, cat the other. Even the most intellectually challenged moglet eventually works out that the sacrifice is worth it.

Even try getting mog to associate the click with food by giving her the dealbreaker treat only when the noise is triggered.

Nearly parallel parked today. Then went through seriously busy shopping centre roads. When I rule the universe, I will outlaw pedestrians and, upon advice of my instructor, compel them to scuttle along tunnels and culverts and underpasses, invisible to the drivers, like the people underground in The Time Machine. I shall give the Universe a new name, one befitting of the status of a place where the car is king and the peasants are relegated to skulking in the tunnels. I shall give my Empire a proud, great name, one that will make the pedestrian quiver and the driver swell with pride. I shall thereby name this Universe, my domain -

    Debt-free and Proud!
So I started decluttering. So far I have decluttered a nappy wrapper and step from my bathroom. I have no idea why I thought I would want to save up a weeks worth of dirty stinking nappies in one recepticle, but the thought of opening it after a warm week is horrific. My daughter hasn't needed a step to reach the loo for two years. The things we keep around long after we have ceased using them is truly bizarre! Anywho, now I am stuck to the sofa bouncing the baby with my foot, so will have to leave it there for now. Baby steps....

Calling Helen Jelly and Kazwookie. I think we may need to have a serious word with Ms Tightfisted......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Seriously Jojo, well done on nearly parallel parking. As I mentioned in my "list finished" post, I have to drive Mr LW and his
[STRIKE]cohort[/STRIKE] mate home tonight - on the condition that Mr LW drives to the pub, and parks in such a way as I do not have to do any reversing!

hello lilo I was wondering where you had disappeared tom- hope you are feeling better - baby steps remember - you can do this - I have every confidence in you!!
welcome to the thread danemi1 just start with today - dont worry about playing catch up - will send you a pm shortly.
ajmoney congrats to DH on passing his bike test.:T
roundtuit and carolinejane - you are both doing really well so keep it up and you will soon notice a difference - doing your own lists is great just so long as its not the same easy bits each week!!!:rotfl: pigpen's lists really do cover everything that needs - even if just once a month - once you get yourselves organised in a week or 2 have a look and see if there is anything that you could add to your list that you might not have thought of.
lisa26 forget what you missed yesterday - just start at today - if you get today and rest of the week finished you can go back and catch up - it all comes around next week anyway!
serena - congrats to your DS too:T
vanilla how annoying and what a shame (((hugs)))
piggers sounds like squeak is fed up - cant you play him some lullabys or something soothing to sleep a bit longer?

had an ok day at Cornhill - we made rhubarb jam, plain scones and cherry scones and i did a bit of the jigsaw - the men got to play on the Wii in the afternoon. I just tried to ignore the moaning minnies - but they were getting attention so they were a bit quieter today.

Just as well as i had a bad night sleeping again and was not feeling very sociable and might have been tempted to tell them what I was thinking!!!

its a lovely evening so had better go water the garden and see if I can find the energy to do the weedkiller this time too.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Toots.. that won't work.. Squeak wakes up.. kicks the living daylights out of my poor battered ribs then starts hand sucking and gets hiccups which gives me awful heartburn! Life is fun lol. Hopefully just another week or so to go though which will be bearable.. mostly!

phew! i'm a day or two late but i'm here!, i'd like my flying to start as of tomorrow please... so:

wednesday - blitz bathroom, hall and stairs!

i have already done my kitchen on monday, tonight i had visitors and celebrations, so i'll forgive myself that one!

i can still see myself getting into a panick for the end of the week, cos i'll have extra washing and packing etc to do, but i'm determined to at least try!

I don't think so.. but I don't know.. I am hoping we have sorted the times he has been bringing them home.. OH and I are to collect the little 3 at 6:30pm and the older ones can come back at 8:30/9ish.

Instead of the Mondays which mean he gets hardly any time with them we did discuss him having them Friday evening to Saturday lunch and if he had plans then to have them 5-6 hours on the Sunday.. and bring them back in time for dinner, bath and bed ready for school on Monday.

He didn't like that the children do not want to stay at his on a school night so I have a feeling he will grill them about that one and try guilting them into agreeing with him.. but they do not want to leave stuff at his all week nor do they want to carry it round school the next day so I do see their point TBH.. it is difficult with the bigger ones too as they have their books and pe'kits to lug about too... bother.. I could have saved me DS2's bus fare.. I never thought of that!!

I am off to prod them all into bed..
