Tesco ~ Sky?

Hi
I saw a poster yesterday advertising that Sky now do 3 for £20 a month (Sky, Internet & Phone).
I am currently a Sky viewer and after adding up how much I currently pay each month I was
I would switch imediately but wondered if thats just for the package and there are extra charges incurred (eg any calls made, Internet usage over certain limit)?
My current monthly bills are:
Tesco Homephone £30.00
Tesco BroadBand £14.16
Sky Subscription £32.00 (£23 + £10 Multiroom).
Which TOTALS = £76.16 a month
Ok so I lose the ClubCard points with Tesco which were of use to me as they get used on deals throught the year (holidays, gifts, days out etc) so were of value.
There is still no Cable in our area  Or I would go with Virgin.
Tesco have not offered me an option to combine my Homephone & Internet onto their 'new' package deal.
If anything they have doubled my Homephone bill as they added a missing charge after an anual audit review!
If it makes any difference we are both on PAYG with Tesco mobile ( I think its via 02 ), as noticed Sky now also do Mobile, or did I dream it?
Thanks in advance

The basic 'free' Sky bb service is capped at 2MBps and with a 2GB data allowance. In other words, for most people it's about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
You will need to pay the extra to go up a level to get a workable service.
That pricing offer will only apply anyway if you are on a Sky LLU exchange. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Thanks for replies.
Have just looked again at Tesco Internet & Homephone Anytime package for £12 per month as a new customer includes -
Inclusive calls- No set up fees
- 1000 Clubcard points
- 18 month contract
- *Plus Tesco line rental for £11 a month
We're sorry your telephone line is currently unable to receive Tesco Broadband. This is because, we cannot provide Tesco Broadband to you at this time, please call our Contact centre for further information
Then I used the 'test my line' availability checker only to be told 'LINE TEST FAILED ~ we're sorry youre telephone line is currently unavailable to receive Tesco BroadBand. This is because, we cannot provide Tesco BroadBand to your line at this time, please call our comtat centre for further information'
I am already using Tesco Homephone and Tesco BroadBand on the same line so how can they tell me this ? !
It upsets me Tesco didnt have the common sense to contact me and offer a transfer to their combined package. Obviously they like to take more money off me, or perhaps they failed to notice that in their recent anual audit? I dont suppose they failed to automaticaly renew my contract though so possibly stuck tied in with them again without being informed of intent or given a choice.

Not any more macman. Sky changed their packages on 1st June, now both packages support speeds of up to 20mbps. Obviously this isn't guaranteed, as it depends on your distance from your telephone exchange etc. Now the only difference in the 2 packages is the usage allowance. They lowered the price of their Unlimited package as well from £15 to £12.50 (without Sky Talk) and from £10 to £7.50 (with Sky Talk)

It's still a miserly 2GB monthly cap on the 'free' service though. No free lunch, and no free laptop

My current monthly bills are:
Tesco Linerental £11.
Tesco Homephone £30.
Tesco BroadBand £14.16
Sky Subscription £32.00 (£23 + £10 Multiroom).
TOTALS = £87.16 a month
Switching to Tesco bundle -
http://www.tescobroadband.com/tesco-broadband/anytime-package.aspx
Tesco Linerental £11.
Tesco Anytime Calls £ 4.
Tesco BroadBand £ 8.
Sky Subscription £32.
Totals = £55.00 a month
(NO set up fees)
Transfering to Sky Bundle -
(Prices will increase from 1/9/10) http://www.sky.com/quickbuy/build#bbAndTalkSection
Sky Linerental £11.
Sky Talk Unlimited £ 5.
Sky Talk Freetime £ 0.
Sky BroadBand Connect £17.
Sky Subscription £32.
TOTALS SKY = £65.00 a month
(one off set up fee £30 for existing customers)
(Packages currently £18-£48.50 increasing to £19-£51 on 1.9.10).
So unless my calculations are wrong I would be wiser to go back to my original plan and try and transfer my BroadBand and Telephone into 1 bundle with Tesco ????
Sorry if I appear to be going round in circles am just trying to get the best price and save a bit more money.
Thanks

Easy way to save money is to get rid of your Sky TV package.
