Turkish stamp in passport & going to Cyprus!

Hi,
I am asking this question on behalf of my friend who is going to Cyprus (Larnaca) at the end of July. Earlier this year, she spent a week in Turkey and of course in Turkey they still stamp the Passport.
Someone has told her that the Cypriot authorities will frown on the Turkish stamp and may not even let her in.
I realise that things are still quite fractious between the Turks and the Cypriots but I don't really think they won't let her in because of the stamp in her passport. Any advice please? Sally

I have a turkish stamp in my passport and they never batted an eyelid in Cyprus!0

I went to Turkey and Cyprus on my old passport and didn't know any of this. Assume they stamped my passport then. Won't be going back for them to stamp any future passports, though!0

We didn't have a problem in Cyprus, with a Turkish stamp in our passports.0

when i went to cyprus i went on a day trip to northern cyprus which is turkish occupied, we had no problems apart from a hold up with entry visa into northern cyprus that took half hour sat on coach to sort out.we had no problems at the border coming back into southern cyprus.0

You can even walk from North Cyprus into Cyprus now - no problems at all.
Now, in retrospect, getting that Israeli stamp was a bit silly, considering my plan to visit every country in the world. New passport methinks...0
