I did too, I got 2k for whiplash.
Only thing was I never knew I was claiming.
I got a letter from my insurance company telling me to go to their docs for an examination, then a couple of weeks later a cheque arrived. I never expected anything and was putting the accident behind me.
I never sent the cheque back though

Yep, I'm really lucky being disabled for life!
Irrespective of the consequences of the accident, you still have not established any hint of negligence. Without that, your argument really counts for nothing.Gone ... or have I?0 -

That was very quick indeed, but very naughty - whiplash on average takes 10 months.. and you could have got more compensation (should you need it, or should you have longer ongoing problems):cool:0 -

Why are you twisting it? We are not talking about whatever your disability is - we are talking about the fact you that you fell over yesterday.
So was that comment really necessary to this discussion

That I agree with, and all the fraudulent claims too.
It was probably the reason the First Aider was so inefficient at the accident and more concerned with filling in the forms, ironically :cool:0 -
