Hi all - it has been a nice day but is trying to rain!

We've been to a car boot sale this morning and have bought one or two items to re-sell on ebay which have been put on!

Listed a load of CD's this week also on ebay, got a couple of bids already.

Also listed some DVDs we were given for free and have a bid on one!

May do more tomorrow - will update if I do!
Debt as of Sept' 2015 (LBM!): £36,351  (sickening)
Monthly outgoings on debt alone: £1243/month

We're on the right path, we got ourselves here..we're a bit lost, but we'll find our way back again!

Hi folks , its hot here today but no sun. Never mind. I have spent 2 days cleaning and sorting my Dads flat for him - 3 trips to the tip and we are getting somewhere ! I'm exhausted , so much for a weeks holiday. At least things seem to be picking up.

    Today I have :

    * Checked banks - okaish
    * Gone over budget again to see what kind of paycut I can handle
    * Refunded unhappy ebay buyer, no sign of the huge stain - I think she just changed her mind tbh -who cares.
    * Transfered rest of paypal balance into spends account - looking a bit dire atm as i just ordered 24 bottles lindemans - a bargain though.:money:
    * Recieved good bids on ebid items listed that I forgot about
    * Recieved my bargains from la senza online clearance - very pleased and beautifully wrapped - onto xmas pressie stockpile.
    * requested £10 voucher from valued opinions:D
    * got lots of points on lightspeed lastnight - only need 25 more points and i can request £15 paypal payment. :D
    * Got invoice for hol.iday - only need another £30 saved and thats the holiday cost covered , only need to save for spends now.:)
Going Husky dog sleding on my birthday :T and snowmobiling the day after :)
    * Done some comps - got a pair of sandals in the post the other day - put DDs size thinking she would like them but doesn't so selling them to my SiL who wanted some.
*Off to cinema later and will collect points - nearly enough for a free ticket now.

Gosh I'm shattered, hope I don't fall asleep at pictures . On the brightside I think I may make my xmas target, was looking unlikely a few months back. Only problem is DD is now saying she wants a new lappy for xmas  better get back to the comps :o

    I really started today

    1) started reading the spendsmart book I got from the library
    2) put my debts in a spreadsheet and as a result noticed an anomaly so going to ring them once the call centre is back open
    3) had a chat with my OH about cutting down spending and how I want to clear my overdraft before April's budget cuts
    Taking baby-steps

    Evening all :hello:

Phew it was a scorcher here today! More tan lines from sunbathing in the park with hubby :o

Quite a good DFW day, only spend was £5 for my eye test (they had a deal on) and I didn't mind that because my optician gave me good news!! Right eye has improved and left eye stayed the same :j So no new glasses needed!!! Yippee!! Was a bit worried about the expense of that.

Apart from that, everything else I've done has been free! Doing some batch cooking now which I love doing anyway.

I'm knitting presents, I haven't knitted for years so I've started with small stuff, and I bought my wool from the pound shop when they unexpectedly had a good range. :D
I get my patterns from knitty.com and ravelry.com so those are free. :money:

So far I've knitted 2 scarves and a bag for the TomTom. Currently I'm knitting a shrug, but because the chevron pattern shows every error I seem to unpick 20% of what I knit :rotfl:

It is a winter occupation for me however, and I can't imagine that I'll feel like doing it in November when it is hot here ;)

I would love to learn to knit, I think I will try in Autumn time. Where do you live, Olive Oyl?
    - washing duvet myself - treading on it like grapes in the bath and then it's going out on the line :D £13 saving

V jealous La escosesa, I would love to be able to dry clothes outside, but alas no garden for us :( There is nothing like the freshness of clothes dried outside. Oh well....all this DFWness will make us millionaires and then I can get my garden....

Anyway, hope everyone is having a nice evening!

    Jo :)

Well my horror of Robin Hood (brought on by the kevin costner overload and the dire 'everything I do ....' song has been completely dispelled by Russell Crowe and Ridley scott. Not a huge russell crowe fan either so was bracing myself for a long period of torture. Excellent , and I managed to stay awake all the way through ;). Lots of totty there girls.

Couple of things you may or may not know the answers to......

Whats the best way to get cash / points for printer cartridges ? Got one from my dads thats still full - he doesn't have the right type of printer and nobody on freegle wants it. Suspect its too old to bother ebaying and I'm a bit bored of that tbh.

And is there any point in looking into very old passbook accounts ? Found 2 at my dads that must be 50 years old ! Got a little cash in and kept them mainly for the 'historical interest'. They are from Lloyds. (He could use the cash if they are still valid :()

OK , offskies for now. Be back in the morning with my list if i get any rest due to this heat !!!

    Morning everyone

Yesterday was a LSD. Went to met my friend and we took the kids to the park for a picnic which we all enjoyed and it didn't cost anything.

Then i got to watch my brothers scan DVD confirming i will be the proud Auntie of a nice in November! I am soooooooooooooooo excited! :D And very broody! :( It was also the same brothers 23rd birthday so that was good.

Then i looked around town at wedding bands to come to the conclusion that i can get my ring online for a fraction of the price. I really don't want to pay £845 for a plain platinum ring!

    Today

scratches - two goes again today
check surveys - nearly there on sooo many accounts
    check banking
    lunch from stores
    dinner at MILs
    file paperwork
    DD's homework
    Watch the grand prix
find something to do with the kids

Not too much! I want a lazy (ish) sunday. Hopefully NSD

Have a great sunday everyone! x
