I would love to comment but, alas, your punctuation and spelling is so awful I do not understand what it is you are trying to say!

    thats part of being dyslexic

and fees are inculded as part of your loan you just forget that has to be payed back , and the other benifits are pretty much the same as what i would get for going back to uni which i will be doing in the near future

How can someone on all those benefits which presumably preclude him from any sort of work cope with a full on University course?

Unless we have been told lies all this time and University is an absolute doddle.

Be interesting to know what he plans to study.

he might not be taking a full course for all you no there is such thing as a foundation degree whic is less work and only two years, but a good friend of mine has menatal health issues herself but is a DOCTOR why should mental health be taken out of context when plenty of people live with it and work thought it with the right support and medication

I did a higher diploma in palliative care and found it quite hard going with the essay deadlines etc. I burned a lot of midnight oil.

I was working full time as well so that must have made a difference.

A Foundation Degree is a full time course and should have practical work alongside it. There is no reason for it to be less work, rather the opposite in fact.

Surely dyslexia doesn't cause bad grammar, such as "I have DID a uni course"
I can appreciate it may cause spelling issues but not grammar problems.
I think we need to go back to the days when one could only study at uni if one had already attained a good level of English.

Th university that I'm currently attending, I had to have a level 2 English Qualification to gain entry on to the BSc Hons Social Studies Degree.

But how do the examiners make any sense of what you write?

TBH such poor spelling and bad grammar turn anything into unreadable nonsense for me.

Our eldest daughter has dyslexia but never wrote like you do. She went to university as a mature student but asked for no special dispensation. Instead she spell checked everything, then printed it and finally asked one of us to proof read it. She is now a primary school headmistress who encourages the pupils to correct her spelling. Sometimes she puts in mistakes deliberately to see if they will notice......they always do!

dyslexia can be mild, or it can be quite bad my reading and writing age come out at age 10 maths was 12 iam 24 now my lovely late granda could only write his name and signiture , i cant see my own mistakes its part of that if MSE had a spell checker i would use it and i had to often do what your daugther did with printing out a copy of what was wrote but i have to hand write it 1st then re edit as i type then still have to re draft that i get 25% extra time so i can slow down and plan things properly thats a big difference in english for gcse i would often acheve A's for coursework but that was because i had time to plan it well
