thanks peach, after posting the message early this week i have decided to do it and get on my bike :j we have worked it so i will ride to work and mum will take me home with her (we work in the same area) with the bike in the boot, untill i get used to it then i will ride all the time, it will save me £50 a month but i need to get my bike serviced etc so that will be put in friday ready for tue/wed, the inital outlay will be around £50 as i need to get lights/relector top etc etc but i think it will be worth it
good luck with your riding hun :A 0 -

My Work is almost 23 miles away no way I could cycle there and back.
No public transports where I live so I use a car.
Never used a car till we moved here :-(
What if it rains? or feel sweaty? Can't work next to people if your dripping wet
FintanWhile I breathe.... I hope0 -

Tried that at lunchtime, only to spend 10 minutes at the end scraping dog s*** off my bike. Sadly there was no thoughtless dog owner around that I could shoot to relieve my frustration.:mad:Fiscal drag, that's my problem. Too many people dragging on my fiscals.0 -

Exactly! Get a tub of wet wipes or something to freshen up. My lab always smells like marzipan anyway, no-one will notice if I'm a bit fragrant
