Changes to o2 iPhone contract

Hi

Hope someone may be able to help...

I discovered that from 1st October the data will be limited, on all existing contracts, that are currently unlimited.

Can O2 do this? Change a contract mid term, and for exactly the same money give me less?

    My understanding is that existing contracts will be unchanged. If it is an iPhone contract it certainly will be honoured.

    Even if it isn't, there has been an FUP of 200mb (now 500mb) and the contract does state that it is subject to change.

    You'd have a hard time arguing that unlimited* (*500mb limit applies) is any different to 500mb per month.
