Why would they discount. They know that demand is high, supply is being outstripped, so there is no need for them to discount below market price...

No, there is not, but equally there is no "need" to charge more whilst providing less than anyone else.

Nobody said they should discount them anyway.

I'm pretty sure it was meant that if they were to offer double the data og the other networks then they would be onto a winner. But they don't even offer wifi hotspot access.
