WOW, I think this will obscure the Rightmove stats for the EA (243 views already). They will have so many extra hits, the vendor might decided to add yet another £10,000 :rotfl:

I've never seen RM stats that the seller/agent sees... I wonder if it shows the referrer url, so the agent can see it's from here/us :)

*waves @ agent* ... you CHANCER! Get real, prices are falling!

I arranged a vewing a couple of days ago on the following property and just went to print the details from Rightmove to find it has gone up £10,000.......
Almost the same happened to me a few months ago. The EA rang to quote one price, then emailed the details with another, within minutes. Maybe you too sounded too excited :)

Many small developers have rented out their properties over the last couple of years as they have been unable to sell at the prices they had budgeted for, hoping to sell in the future once prices have risen.

We are now at the point whereby they realise house prices cannot be sustained at the current level and they will be trying to sell their properties at the highest price possible before buyers realise where the market is heading.

Am I missing something, but - from the photo of the front of the house -how is it semi-detached?

I viewed a flat in London which went up by 30k about three days after I saw it - it wasnt a particularly good deal at the original price.
Even the agent (that well-known "F" co) was unimpressed which is saying something.
Tthe daftest thing is that if you take into account that the front to the back of the flat sloped down by about 4 inches... well, i dont want to go there -
... but its under offer now!!!

Couldn't agree more about the "semi" bit - it's pretty firmly attached both sides.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

I had not even noticed that this is how they were advertising it, I just liked the look of it and the ideal location. Pitty that they have just passed planning permission to allow 11 wind turbines to be situated just north of the village, but I was hoping that this would bring the price down.

I've nothing against wind turbines. Loads of them round here, there's something majestic-looking about them when viewed from a distance. Also, something alien/triffid-like about them.... I'm sure they're moving closer when I'm not looking. However, I couldn't really live too close to them or I'd find myself standing for hours at the window just watching them go round ... and round ... and round ... and round ....

The style of the house wasn't too bad, except where it's joined/at the corner, there's a neighbour's door, which is all a bit cheek by jowl for me.
