Windows PC Messaging Software for Android Phones

Hi there,

I currently use Nokias and the great thing about them is that you can use PC Suite to do a lot of texting via the PC which gives you access to a full keyboard and obviously cut and pasting from any source.

If I go for an Android Phone such as a Dell Streak, is there any software that I can install on a Microsoft Windows PC so that I can achieve the same effect?

Probably not what you are looking for, but your network provider may allow you to send text messages from your PC via their website on the internet (so you'll have copy/paste facility and full keyboard).
They are known as Web Texts on T-Mobile, and they just come out of your allowance (or credit on PAYG), the same cost as a normal text. Just log in to your "My Account" and there is probably an option to send a web text.

Thanks both. Sounds promising.

I use O2 - problem with them is that (at least last time I checked) web SMS is not the same or linked to your phone contract SMS. It doesn't send with your phone number.
