Hi there,
Finally I have decided to throw away my trusty brick and buy a new phone. Currently with O2 simplicity I'm looking for a phone that is good with email/internet and quite like the look of the android phones as I can't afford an Iphone but would prefer no contract, either PAYG or a rolling 30 day contract such as simplicity.
Is there such a thing & if so which phones are best! I was recommended the Nokia 5230, although not android it is internet savy/semi smart and comes with free Sat Nav which would be handy.
Can anyone recommend any others, or share any views?
Much Appreciated

I'm happy with my Motorola Dext which I've had about 10 months, there is a newer version out now ..... could be called the Milestone or summat like that. Dext is very simple to use and have only had one problem with it (alarm clock didn't work). Motorola support were very helpful and it's been working beautifully since.Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0

@Norbertsmum
Agree with you on the Motorola phones. I've had a Milestone for a couple of weeks and it is superb! Excellent rock solid build quality and really simple to use.
Like most (all?) Android phones, you can make them as complicated as you want. Straight out of the box I found it really simple to use and have gradually been figuring out what else it can do so no massive learning curve.
My only reservation is the battery life but that goes for all smartphones as far as I know. If you want them to do all the wonderful things they are capable of there has to be a trade off somewhere...
Got mine free from buymobilephones on T-Mobile by the way.0 -
Are these on payg or some sort of flexible contract anywhere that you know of?0

Couldn't say to be honest, I only really looked at the contract options when agreeing my deal. I think you'd be paying a hefty amount up front for these kinds of phones if you went down the payg route.0

If you are on simplicity or some kind of sim only deal, then get the handset off line (sim free) , places like play.com are trustworthy and reliable :j0
