Just to say what a fantastic service to the community this site has been.

I consult this site for almost every aspect of my life, including fixing my PC!

MSE has proven time and time again as an honest, trustworthy and invaluable source of infromation.

Thank you so much to all the MSE team for your efforts!

I think we should all nominate Martin for a knighthood. Seriously.

I would agree with you. There are a lot of other 'Sirs' out there who haven't done 1/2 as much as Martin. I can just see him blushing now. However I think he will get better and better and is still very young. Maybe a few years!!!

  • He deserves it but it would embarrass him in his future political career, so he would probably turn it down.

Unless it slipped out that he had turned down a knighthood - which would result in credit from all sides ;).

But he's too nice a chap for those "spin" type games.

Dunno about the sir-age - been somewhat devalued by the "bung us a few quid and we'll see you all right" govt.

If you start a thread, I'm sure there are some money saving tips or a discount code for a 'bung for peerage'!
