Low Rate Mobility to Higher Rate - Not Sure What To Do.

I do qualify for the higher rate once the changes come into play (see here) but thanks anyway.
I've posted off my letter and I called them today to see if it has arrived and the lady confirmed they have it. She said I'll probably have to wait 12 weeks whilst it is reconsidered. Does anyone know if it will be backdated, assuming the decision is in my favour?Only 3% of those registered blind in the UK have zero vision.0 -
It gets back dated to the date they received your original claim for HRM. No different to you putting in a claim and having to wait for the decision.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Well I forgot all about this thread, here's an update for anyone who's interested.
After looking at my claim a second time I was awarded the higher rate, but even better news is that I can now walk pretty well. It seems that with regular injections and careful use of painkillers I can now get around much better than before. So I told them at the DLA and back on the lower rate, until April when the criteria changes for blind people, what a carry on!
