Help please with weekly email

I used to receive the weekly email at my home address with no problem. A couple of months ago I stopped receiving it, I emailed the webmaster etc & received automatic supplies.
I tried unsubscribing & resubscribing, & received a welcome email, but no weekly email!
For some reason I think my email address has become flagged or something as I don't get any of the other weekly emails, yet many people I know that have just subscribed do.
Is there anyone on the forum who can help me look into this further & reinstate the weekly email?
FYI, I am computer literate & know that spam filter not the problem as welcome, & most recent weekly email which both get sent when I re-subscribe are being received without issue it is just all the weekly emails after resubscribing I don't receive.

Have you checked your 'Junk' folder?

Thank you for your suggestion.
The emails are not being received, the problem is not that they are being recognised as junk, I am not receiving them, hence my post.

Try -

Click on 'User CP', under 'Settings and Options' click on 'Edit Options', then under 'Messaging & Notifications' ensure that the box 'Receive Email from Administrators' is ticked.

Thanks but this forum admin is nothing to do with the weekly email, & what you suggest has nothing to do with the weekly email.

I have the same problem - except that, from time to time, the email does appear. Then nothing again for months on end.

Does not really bother me as the other half is also signed up for it, and he gets it regularly, so he'll forward it on if there's anything of interest, but it did always puzzle me how it sometimes does get to me and mostly it doesn't.

So it's not just you....

There is some comment on it by the MSE team that I once read (when I was having similar problems). I don't recall it being in an obvious place - I think perhaps it was in the Techie board on a thread about personal info being harvested by the site. I'll see if I can track it down (unless any of the MSE team want to save me the effort) ...

ETA Just did a quick search on this board. This thread seems typical, but there are quite a lot I haven't looked at yet.

ETA Just quick-read this thread. It might be what I was thinking of in para 1.
Obviously, only you can know whether anything said therein relates to your email problem.
