Hi
I'm hoping that someone can help me. Over six months ago I sold some concert tickets and have now received them and sent them to the buyer. he has emailed me to say that he did not bid on the Friday and bid on the Saturday but I never had any tickets for Saturday.
Due to it being over six months, i can no longer find the listing with date, through paypal it just says robbie williams tickets.
Can anyone help me please as the concert is this week and I want to be able to prove that I sold tickets for Friday.
Thanks
Jules

I'm sure an Ebay expert will be along to help you out soon - but if you re state the auction was for Friday - it is upto the buyer to show it was Saturday. If they can then it's up to you to refund but if they can't then it's up to them to track down the details. If you have their user name - you could try and check their transactions and find it that way.0

Thanks for that, he is unable to find the listing and is taking it that he is wrong but i would really like to be able to find it so that I can prove to him that I am not diddling him, I'm really big on being honest and it's just niggling me.
Thanks for the advice though

Do you not have any emails, either in your ebay inbox/ sent items or your registered account? Those that are sent automatically from ebay 'Congratulations you are the winning bidder' (sorry, don't know what the ones sent to the seller say?!) normally have the item title on them - if you put the date on there?!!Gone ... or have I?0

I don't think there is a way to check this, as Ebay can't keep details of every item indefinitely. So unless you used Turbolister...
Didn't you send the buyer any sort of confirmation - proof that you had the tickets coming? That would have the details on it.
You are very honest. Even IF you had made a mistake in the listing, it was a mistake and doesn't make you any less honest okay? So don't worry about it, he'll have a great time anyway!:wall:0 -
If the person has left you feedback you can click on that find their name and then you will be able to click on the item you sold them ...I hope you understand what i mean .......I know what i am trying to say lolWill this hammy hunt ever end ???
So far all 4 hamsters £40,3 beds £15,Skate board and u turn £22,House £25 total £97.00 ....still wanting wheel,car,slide,ball,surf board ....
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERY ONE :rotfl:0 -
Worth a try. The listing might still be lurking in the system, in which case you'd need the item number to find it. Though most of my old listings more than about 3 months old are gone, I have one from February which still appears (though without photo) if I search for its item number!0

If you used turbo lister you can import your old ebay listings to work on them and relist - they go back months so there is a very good chance that you can get to see the auction again.0

email confirmation of your listing being placed?
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
As said before if the buyer hasnt bought many items since then, which some dont, go into their rating and click into the active auctions and see if you can find yours?:happylove !!NEW AND JUST LEARNING!! :happylove0

Incidentally, for future reference you cannot sell items on ebay that you cannot guarantee to supply within 30 days, so you were lucky this time.
